Birth of Flowers

This painting was inspired by one of my photos from my XV años. The pose and the background made me think of how I felt when I moved to El Paso. I made this painting for the VASE 2025 competition and I worked on it for one semester. It was hard because it has a lot of detail and strong colors. I will not lie, I got stressed, but I also enjoyed painting almost every day. While working, I thought of new details to add like the butterflies and the small bee at the bottom. I think this is my favorite painting I made in my time in High School
